North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) normalized channel on Jalan Sunter Agung Utara Garden, Blok N, RT 3/18, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district. Total 250 sacks of mud had been collected from the channel.

We normalize it from depth 40 centimeters to one meter

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Unit Head, Deny Tri Hendarto mentioned, his side normalized channel with width 80 centimeters and length 20 meters.

"Channel is silting with mud sedimentation as thick as 60 centimeters. We normalize it from depth 40 centimeters to one meter," he said, Saturday (11/13).

According to him, channel normalization was carried out to follow up resident's request through Musrenbang in 2020. 

"We deploy 10 personnel for normalization. It is carried out from November 12, 2021 and finished on the same day. By normalizing the channel, we want to prevent inundation," he explained.
